Most, if not all of my most popular questions are outlined in my FAQ on the website! But I thought I would dive a little deeper into other questions that I get —
1) How would you describe your style and approach?
This is one of my favorite questions! The first word that always comes to mind when I describe my style is real. My approach is to encourage you and your partner to just BE YOURSELVES (and I don’t care how weird that might be…) With a little guidance and a lotta love from you; while you two have a blast, I will be snapping away!
I’m not going to tell you what to do with your special day - nor here to label you as a “#hellolovelybride” That’s just not my style! I am here to document your special moments as they unfold. I pride myself on being the “calm in the storm” on your wedding day. I am there to hold your hand when you're nervous, laugh with you, cry with you, but overall have a freaking BLAST with you, cause it’s your WEDDING!
I’m passionate about capturing unscripted moments and telling your story through my photos. You’re in love and we want to shout it from the rooftops with you. Literally, we will climb onto a roof with you if that’s what your heart desires.

2) Can we forego our complimentary engagement session?
Do we recommend you skip it..? HECK NO! Here is why!
I include a complimentary engagement session with all of my wedding packages and for many reasons; this is the PERFECT opportunity for us to get comfortable with each other before spending your wedding day together and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. That way on your wedding day you will already feel like a pro and know what I’m going to ask of you.

3) We are so awkward in front of the camera… How do you deal with that?
This ties in nicely with the first two questions. We know, everyone feels awkward in front of the camera, but I’m here to tell you, that isn't an issue for me. Pretty much every couple says this to me and without fail, they receive their gallery and are blown away! I’m not here to make you do any cheesy poses or anything you're uncomfortable with. I will communicate with you through your session (and on your wedding day) to ensure your comfort. With a little guidance from me (to ease you into being in front of the camera) and your love for each other. We’re going to make some real magic, friends.
4) Do you offer custom wedding packages for elopements?
HELL - to the- YES! I know every wedding day is unique in its own way and I' am here for ALL of it! I have captured so many intimate ceremonies, city hall weddings, and secret elopements over the past few years, so I know not every wedding fits into a box. I offer hourly wedding pricing just for that kind of day!
If your wedding doesn’t fit within my packages, I am stoked to work with you to create something that suits your needs.

5) How do I secure my wedding date?
If you know I’m the right photographer to capture your memories, then let’s do this thing! Much like my approach, it’s pretty simple -- for every wedding, I require a 50% retainer and a signed and completed contract to fully secure your wedding date.
Without those complete - we cannot guarantee our availability.
