Alex & Ryan's Intimate Cottage Wedding
This wedding, was honestly, a wedding that dreams are made of.
Alex & Ryan got married at Alex’s family cottage, surrounded by only family (including their sweet little boy & Alex’s brother live streaming from across the globe).
With so many personal touches (scroll for the cake!), the most perfect spot for “I do” and a little paddle in a canoe. I’d love to relive this day over and over!
Okay, I will admit, I usually don’t get overly excited about cake cutting but the two cakes are both ultra special.
Alex and Ryan’s first wedding cake was A) made by Alex’s little sister and B) the brain molds on the cake are ACTUALLY replicas of Alex and Ryan’s brains! HOW COOL IS THAT?
The second wedding cake is a Kransekage, a traditional Danish cake. Instead of cutting this cake the newlyweds removes the top ring — legend states that however many rings stick to the top layer signifies the number of children they will have.
I am all for incorporating cool little details like those!
