Hi there friends! I am so thrilled to get this blog out there! You might recognize Matthew and Sulin from a surprise proposal I did with them in Feb 2019. Some photos actually got published by the CBC in an article about romantic Ottawa locations to propose.
Let’s go back through memory lane for a second…Matthew and Sulin met working at the Lord Elgin hotel and Confederation park accross the street became a special place for them, so for the planned proposal Matthew and Sulin were again walking through the park but this time Matthew had a question for Sulin and I was there snapping away the moment Sulin said yes. It was so wonderful to be able to freeze that moment in time for them. Then I got to take a few more shots of them downtown and around the Lord Elgin. I loved capturing their surprise engagement photos and was so happy they asked me to document their wedding reception at the NAC. They were already officially married a few weeks prior but came together with all their friends and family to celebrate, eat and salsa dance the afternoon away.

Matthew and Sulin arranged for two salsa instructors to come in and show their friends and family how to dance! So there party quickly became a dance party! It was such a blast to photograph and I wish Matthew and Sulin all the best! Congrats again guys! xo
